Description
Pocket bag air filters are commonly used as secondary or final filters, positioned after a pleated filter. These filters, also known as bag filters or pocket filters, are available in five efficiency levels: 40-45%, 60-65%, 80-85%, 90-95%, and above 95%, corresponding to MERV 8, 11, 13, 14, and 15 ratings. The filter media is constructed from pieces sealed together to form pockets. Each pocket bag filter can have a specified number of pockets, such as 3-pocket or 6-pocket configurations, and the pocket lengths can vary. These combinations allow for various surface area sizes, where a larger surface area generally offers better Dust Holding Capacity (DHC) and longer filter service life.
