Description

The HF-HXT Activated Carbon Panel Filter is designed for air treatment in EV charging stations, charging cabinets, outdoor charging piles and related electrical enclosures.

Using activated carbon composite media in a pleated panel structure, the filter helps reduce odors, low-concentration volatile organic compounds and selected gaseous contaminants carried by ventilation air. It can also intercept part of the airborne dust load when combined with suitable support media.

Installed in the charging point ventilation path, the filter supports cleaner air circulation around power modules, cooling fans, circuit boards and control components. Its nominal initial pressure drop of 40 Pa provides a practical balance between adsorption performance and cooling airflow.

For best service life, this filter is recommended for use downstream of a coarse dust pre-filter such as a nylon mesh, metal mesh or G3/G4 panel filter.

Technical Parameters

Model Size (mm) Rated Airflow (m³/h) Initial Pressure Drop (Pa) Frame Media
HF-HXT 595 × 595 × 46 3,200 40 Aluminum Alloy / Galvanized Steel Activated Carbon
HF-HXT 595 × 495 × 46 2,700 40 Aluminum Alloy / Galvanized Steel Activated Carbon
HF-HXT 595 × 295 × 46 1,600 40 Aluminum Alloy / Galvanized Steel Activated Carbon
HF-HXT 495 × 495 × 46 2,200 40 Aluminum Alloy / Galvanized Steel Activated Carbon
HF-HXT 495 × 295 × 46 1,300 40 Aluminum Alloy / Galvanized Steel Activated Carbon
HF-HXT 295 × 295 × 46 800 40 Aluminum Alloy / Galvanized Steel Activated Carbon

The above values are nominal. Actual resistance, adsorption capacity and service life depend on airflow, contaminant concentration, temperature, humidity, carbon loading and system design.

Applications

EV Charging Cabinets Fast-Charging Stations Power & Control Compartments OEM Charging Equipment Integration
Installed in charging cabinets to reduce odors and selected gaseous contaminants in fresh-air or recirculation ventilation paths. Suitable for high-power DC charging stations where continuous cooling airflow and improved enclosure air quality are required. Used around power modules, control boards and electrical compartments requiring cleaner ventilation air. Designed for EV charger manufacturers, cabinet suppliers and charging infrastructure integrators requiring standard or customized carbon filters.

Benefits for Charge Point Systems

Odor Reduction Ventilation Compatibility Internal Air Quality Support Multi-Stage Filtration
Activated carbon helps reduce odors from heated plastics, insulation, electrical components and nearby environmental sources. The pleated design provides a larger adsorption surface while maintaining a nominal 40 Pa initial pressure drop. Cleaner enclosure air can reduce unpleasant odors around maintenance and operating areas. The filter can be installed downstream of nylon, metal mesh or G3/G4 dust filters for combined particle and gas control.
