Description
The V-bank air filter serves as a second stage filtration in air handling units and is used as the final stage filtration in some commercial ventilation systems. It effectively removes fine dust particles larger than 0.5 microns, with efficiency ratings ranging from 65% to 95% depending on the grade.
The V-bank air filter provides excellent airflow rates with relatively low resistance. It also boasts a high dust-holding capacity. The mini pleat filter pack maximizes the filter area, and the V-bank construction allows for more filter media packs to be installed within a given housing.
An activated carbon filter, also known as a charcoal filter, is a type of air or water filter that uses activated carbon to remove impurities and contaminants. Activated carbon is a form of carbon that has been treated with oxygen to create millions of tiny pores between the carbon atoms. This increases its surface area and makes it highly effective at adsorbing impurities.
