Description

The HF-HXT activated carbon filter provides an adsorption stage within the enclosure ventilation system. As air passes through the pleated carbon media, odor-causing molecules and selected gaseous pollutants are retained on the activated carbon surface.

For best operating performance, the activated carbon filter is normally installed downstream of a coarse particulate pre-filter. The upstream filter removes dust and fibers before they reach the carbon media, helping preserve the available adsorption surface and extend service life.

Typical installation positions include:

  • Generator enclosure air outlets
  • Power generation box exhaust sections
  • Ventilation and recirculation cabinets
  • Acoustic enclosure air paths
  • Generator-room air treatment units
  • Multi-stage intake and exhaust filtration modules

Activated carbon filters should be replaced according to odor breakthrough, operating hours, contaminant concentration and site ventilation conditions.

Technical Parameters

Model Size (mm) Rated Airflow (m³/h) Initial Pressure Drop (Pa) Frame Media

Applications

Generator Box Odor Control Ventilation and Exhaust Treatment Power Equipment Enclosures OEM Power-System Integration
Installed in diesel and gas generator boxes to reduce fuel, lubricant and equipment-related odors released through the ventilation system. Used in exhaust-air, recirculation and make-up-air sections to adsorb selected gaseous contaminants before air is discharged or returned. Suitable for power cabinets, UPS rooms, transformer enclosures, mobile power stations and auxiliary equipment compartments. Developed for generator manufacturers, acoustic-enclosure suppliers, ventilation integrators and power-system contractors requiring standard or customized carbon filters.

Benefits for Power Generation Boxes

Odor Reduction Ventilation Compatibility Equipment Integration Multi-Stage Filtration
Activated carbon media helps reduce odors associated with fuel vapor, lubricants, engine operation and enclosed equipment areas. The pleated panel structure provides a larger adsorption surface while maintaining a nominal initial pressure drop of 40 Pa. Multiple standard sizes and custom frame options allow integration into generator louvers, exhaust cabinets and ventilation modules. The carbon panel can be installed downstream of metal mesh, nylon mesh or G3/G4 filters to improve service life and overall filtration performance.
