Description
The Custom-Shaped Honeycomb Activated Carbon Filter is designed for applications where a standard rectangular panel cannot match the available installation space.
Its honeycomb carrier contains or supports activated carbon media across a network of open air channels. As contaminated air passes through the structure, gaseous molecules come into contact with the carbon surface and are retained through physical adsorption or chemical adsorption, depending on the selected carbon formulation.
Standard activated carbon is suitable for general odor and organic-vapor control. For more specific contaminants, impregnated or catalytic carbon can be selected to improve performance against compounds such as formaldehyde, acidic gases, alkaline gases or selected industrial vapors.
The rigid outer frame protects the media and allows the filter to be integrated into air purifiers, ventilation modules, air-treatment cabinets and customized equipment.
