Description
This FLT5800 replacement filter is developed for compatible GermGuardian AP5800-series air purifiers requiring a tall cylindrical filtration cartridge.
The outer activated carbon pre-filter helps capture larger particles including hair, pet fur, and household debris while also adsorbing smoke and common indoor odors. This first filtration stage helps reduce loading on the inner HEPA media and supports longer effective service life.
The inner H13 True HEPA layer targets finer airborne particles such as PM2.5, pollen, dust, mold spores, pet dander, and other microscopic contaminants.
Compared with compact ring or panel filters, the FLT5800 configuration uses a taller filter body and a larger surrounding filtration surface, making it better suited to higher-capacity room air purifier applications.
