Features

Deep pleated HEPA filters are highly efficient in capturing particles as small as 0.3 microns with a minimum efficiency of 99.97%. This includes a wide range of particulate matter such as dust, pollen, mold spores, bacteria, and viruses.
  1. The filter media used in deep pleated HEPA filters is typically composed of ultra-fine glass fibers arranged in a dense mat. This media is folded into deep pleats, which increases the filtration surface area while maintaining a compact form factor.
  2. Deep pleated HEPA filters feature a rigid frame typically constructed from materials such as aluminum or galvanized steel. This frame provides structural support and ensures the integrity of the filter during operation.
  3. Despite their high filtration efficiency, deep pleated HEPA filters are designed to maintain a low pressure drop. This means they allow air to pass through with minimal resistance, ensuring efficient airflow within the air handling system.

Description

High Capacity HEPA filters are specifically designed to be used in applications with higher air flow rates, up to 500 FPM. These filters provide several operational and cost benefits. The increased capacity of these filters is achieved by incorporating 50% more media compared to standard capacity HEPAs. The height of the corrugated separators is reduced, allowing for more pleats and more media to be contained within the filter.

Deep pleated HEPA filters outperform traditional separator-pleated HEPA filters in terms of airflow, initial resistance, and dust-holding capacity. The concentrated pleat design extends service life and reduces pressure drop. Deep pleated HEPA filters are ideal for clean rooms, workstations, and bench FFUs.
