Spray operations release wet paint droplets and overspray solids into the exhaust stream. The HF-DZ filter uses several expanded paper layers to create repeated changes in airflow direction. Paint particles contact the paper surfaces and remain inside the filter body while air continues toward the booth exhaust.
The layer count can be selected around the booth design and required loading duty. A higher layer count does not prove a fixed efficiency or service life by itself. Paint type, spray rate, face velocity and filter area all affect performance.
Choose from 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 layers to match the available installation depth and overspray load.
The current specification identifies the media as environmental fire-retardant paper. State the required flame-retardant standard in the purchase specification and request the applicable test document.
A synthetic backing layer is available. Confirm its material, basis weight, thickness and filtration function in the quotation.
Standard square sheets and a 1000 × 10000 mm roll format are listed. Custom dimensions can be reviewed against the holding frame, filter wall or equipment drawing.

Use as a dry overspray collection stage in a compatible spray booth exhaust system. Confirm filter-wall dimensions, face velocity and paint load before selecting the layer count.
Suitable for exhaust collection where manual spraying generates paint droplets and overspray solids. Workplace ventilation and discharge compliance remain system-level responsibilities.
The original page lists electrostatic spraying. Confirm required anti-static and grounding provisions separately; a general anti-static statement does not replace an application safety review.
Can be considered as an overspray prefilter in compatible coating-line exhaust arrangements. Downstream filtration may still be required for finer removal.
This page covers dry paint-mist and overspray collection. It does not establish suitability for machining oil mist, coolant aerosol, water mist, combustible dust, corrosive droplets or high-temperature exhaust. Those applications require separate media-compatibility, drainage, fire-risk and pressure-drop review.
Changing the layer count or backing can change thickness, pressure drop, efficiency and loading capacity. Approved samples and production goods should use the same written construction specification.
Send the paint or coating type, booth type, filter opening, available depth, airflow or face velocity, paint usage per shift, current replacement interval, required efficiency, preferred sheet or roll format and annual quantity.
Not on the basis of the current specification. The confirmed structure is intended for paint mist and overspray in dry spray applications.
The original page gives this range but does not identify the test method, paint type, layer count or operating condition. Request the test basis before using the value for equipment selection.
Not automatically. Service life depends on paint load, droplet distribution, face velocity, filter area, pressure-drop limit and the exact construction.
Yes. Confirm the backing material, weight and function in the quotation.
The original page makes both statements but shows no test standard or classification. State the required standard and request supporting documents.
