Container-type data centers require continuous airflow to remove heat generated by servers, power distribution equipment, batteries and cooling systems. Outdoor air may contain dust, fibers, insects and other contaminants that can accumulate on heat exchangers, fan assemblies, electronic components and downstream filters.
This panel pre-filter provides the first stage of protection at the air intake. Its synthetic fiber media intercepts larger particles while maintaining low airflow resistance, helping stabilize the cooling performance of the containerized data center.
The filter can be installed in:
For applications with higher cleanliness requirements, the panel pre-filter can be used upstream of medium-efficiency or fine filters to reduce the dust load on downstream filtration stages.
